Every client I meet is beautiful, and my job is to make them feel that way. I have been a professional nail artist since 2018 and permanent makeup artist since 2022. My journey into the world of beauty began the same way as most, as a teenage girl. But i never did fit the mold, always wanting to do something that little bit different. I started my journey at college back in 2010 with the full intention of becoming a hairdresser. It soon became apparent that this was not my strength but i did however become fascinated with makeup and my tutors telling me that i had taken like a duck to water with nails. 

I began doing professional makeup on models for wedding shows alongside my own mother's business. A lady that has always been such an inspiration to me. Then a few years later i decided to get back into the nail industry, a path i'm so glad i decided to take. 

The nail industry has so many aspects of products, designs and art, that you could study it for life and still not be done. I have found it fascinating, challenging but most importantly i have made clients and friends for life through my work. 

With 2 children to raise on my own, as many, work has become incredibly challenging, so i decided to open up my own small salon in my home. 

It has meant i've been able to work from home, do evening appointments for my clients that work, fit around the children and of course be able to stop and have quick snuggle with the pooch (yes, i have a miniature dachshund called Penny)

However, after some thinking on how i could expand, i decided nails needed to work alongside something else.

This is where PMU has come into my life. I considered aesthetics for a while but i knew it wasn't really my interest and i needed to be more creative. I want to have the ability to help people with my skills in the future.

I have trained in the art of Ombre eyebrows, 3D digital hairstroke and combination brows. Eyeliner and lash enhancement, lip colour and saline removal. 

The future of LA pmu will hopefully expand into areola and scalp tattooing so i can work alongside charity's to help those who have suffered with cancer or other life changes issues.
